Yak down is 20% warmer than cashmere and 40% warmer than sheep wool.
At Cashmerebox, we work exclusively with 100% yak down, without using synthetic or blended fibers. This is a conscious choice that preserves the natural properties of the material — its warmth, lightness, and breathability.
For our products, we select only the finest fibers with a thickness of 16–18 microns. This accounts for less than 20% of the collected raw material and allows us to create soft, elastic, and silky-touch items.

Creating a thing from yak wool, we do our best to preserve the unique natural qualities of the fiber and to transmit maximum softness, lightness and warmth to the product. For care, we recommend hand washing at water temperatures up to 30 ° C, without the use of bleaches. Gently squeezing the water, dry the product on a horizontal surface, iron with steam at low temperatures. Gentle dry cleaning is also acceptable.
